A large number of computers from all over the world were victims of the attack, which lasted for a few hours. After the incident the entire internet infrastructure was left in a disturbed state and many security systems were overloaded with data traffic.

At the beginning of a match your bomber can drop only one bomb with a flame size of two blocks. This can be changed during the game by collecting power-up icons. These icons are hidden in the soft walls. Destroy the soft walls to look for the power-ups. These items can improve your bomber skills: additional bomb, increase flame size, ability to kick bombs, increase speed, ability to throw bombs, ability to punch bombs.
Bomb item Additional bomb: you can put one more bomb
Flame item Increase flame size: the flame of your bombs grows one block each time you pick up this item
Skater item Increase speed: you can walk a little faster each time you pick up this item
Bomb & foot item Kick bombs: bombs start moving away when you walk towards them
Skull item Contaminations: see the contaminations section below
Hand item (blue) Throw bombs: pick up bombs, carry them and throw them away
Glove item Punch bombs: punch a bomb that is lying in front of you
Remote item Remote fuse: remote fuse a bomb
+ Various contaminations after skull item is taken
The skull item influences the health and skills of your bomber. It can result to: inverted controls, bombs with small flames, having no bombs to place, always dropping bombs, slow speed, fast speed, always move, bombs ticking shorter, bombs ticking longer than usual, invisibility of a bomber, and to a flameproof bomber.
+ Item amount in walls as well as bomber skills on startup can be set on a per-level basis
For this feature a new layout for level files has been designed to configure the amount of items and the skills at the start of a match.
More list items may follow. A list of planned features can be seen in the To-Do list.
What is PAKOON?
Pakoon is a never-ending project which has now produced three games. I wanted to code something on my own and learn some OpenGL graphics programming. This is how Pakoon got started. The game is now in it's third incarnation.
First there was a rather simple prototype called PAKOON! v0.03a, which included one flower car (with auxiliary jet and rotor). The game map/world consisted of a small island, with hills, water and a bridge to jump on.
Then came PAKOON! v1.ONE, which was the "ultimate desert pizza delivery game". It included four vehicles (3 cars and an airplane). The game map/world was expanded to immense proportions (9043 times bigger than the surface of the earth). The goal of the game was to deliver pizzas to desert inhabitants and raise some money to buy new vehicles. With this version I also published a developer package (to create new vehicles, objects and scenes) and the source code was also made publicly available.
Get ready to soil your plants in an all-new action-strategy game from PopCap! A mob of fun-loving zombies is about to invade your home, and your only defense is an arsenal of 49 zombie-zapping plants. Use peashooters, wall-nuts, cherry bombs and more to mulchify 26 types of zombies before they can reach your front door.
Each zombie has its own special skills, so you’ll need to think fast and plant faster to combat them all. But be careful how you use your limited supply of greens and seeds… as you battle the fun-dead, obstacles like a setting sun, creeping fog and a swimming pool add to the challenge. And with five game modes to dig into, the fun never dies!
Open Sonic is a free open-source game based on the "Sonic the Hedgehog" universe. It introduces a different style of gameplay called cooperative play, in which it's possible to control 3 characters simultaneously. Unlike most similar games, Open Sonic provides a greater level of interaction between the player and the levels. It's more than just a jump'n'run; the user must come up with some strategy in order to get through the levels.
AssaultCube,
formerly ActionCube, is a free first-person-shooter based on the game Cube. Set in a realistic looking environment, as far as that´s possible with this engine, while game play stays fast and arcade. This game is all about team oriented multiplayer fun.
The game is a new version of the classic Bridge Builder (published in 2000). It was written by Alex Austin (now at crypticsea and Chronic Logic).
The concept of Bridge Building Game is still the same as in the calssic game: Your task is to build a bridge which has to support a passing train and stay undamaged. Actually, it doesn't necessarily have to stay undamaged, the train just has to pass to the other side safely... Each bridge element is $100 and your budget is limited. The process is simulated using a fairly realistic physics engine and rendered in real time.
The new version adds some of the features knows from BCS like copy & paste or flip x. The sim also shows tension (different shades of blue) and pressure (red) like BCS does. You can also alter the weight of the train. Old Bridge Builder levels can be converted using Schlumpfine's converter tool.
There are many ways to play Bridge Building Game: you can choose just to build working bridges so you can pass all levels quickly (more or less). If that's not enough, you can try to optimize your bridges to be as cost-effective as possible (see the Records section in the Forum). Of course, you can also forget sommon sense and build crazy and weird bridges, try to make them look particularly nice, or even cunstruct complex mechanisms ..., just for the fun of it ... The game sets no limits for your creativity!
